AUTOMATIC TRAIN PROTECTION SYSTEM RAS 8385

Train AUTOSTOP device of RAS8385 type is a signalling safety device working on INDUSI I60 principle, designed for installation into train locomotives in order to increase safety of railway traffic. AUTOSTOP consists of a mechanical stand with a cabinet (having power supply equipment and a stabilizer installed in, as well as a frequency generator for 500, 1000, 2000 Hz and a relay brake group), then of a locomotive magnet and of a rail magnet as well as of a siren, signalling lamps and control elements. In the cabin AUTOSTOP device has a position and connections designed for installation of a unit for registration of information received from the railroad into a locomotive. With regard to mode of operation RAS 8385 belongs to the group of devices designed for running control at a single point (intermittent system).
Central device have two standard and two additional connectors, one for incident recorder and one for electronic dead-man's control unit.    

• Depending on combination of device input voltage and embedded modules (incident recorder and/or electronic dead-man's control unit), there are six models of central device.

RAS8385ISa - AUTOSTOP system (classic I60 device) 24V with incident recorder and electronic dead-man's control unit
RAS8385ISb - AUTOSTOP system (classic I60 device) 72/110V with incident recorder and electronic dead-man's control unit
